Welcome to Monster Snakes Forever. My name is Harry and together with my wife Brenda we have 50 years of combined Reptile experience. Through the years we have kept various Reptile species and if it be a Frog, Snake or Lizard their isn't too much we haven't worked with. Finally we can say we have found our true passion in the Reticulated Python. After selling a large Venomous collection in 2002 we stared collecting and investing in Reticulated Python morphs and local specific animals. At this present time we feel very accomplished with our collection and in the 5 years since we started this project have secured and obtained a hand picked collection from only the best animals from the best breeders in the world. Every one of our breeders have been cherry picked for the best color, size and over all temperament.
The Reticulated Python is an animal you can have for 20+ years and don't you want the very best? We don't believe in the disposable Pet Trade, will not support it and one way we believe we can avoid this is to produce only the best Reticulated Pythons and the most desirable morphs and locals of such high quality it is the best experience and Snake for the purchaser. We believe by not over producing and being very selective with what we breed will not only help the species but produce the best Reticulated Pythons possible.
Our goal is not to be some "big breeder" but in fact to be a very small and limited producer of these beautiful creatures and put high quality over quantity. Many people complain "My Retic is mean" or "How come my Retic will only eat mice?" Well let me answer this here. Individual care is a must for a healthy happy Reticulated Python. Commonsense is going to tell you that babies that get daily individual care are going to be much more tame and healthy than one of a thousand that gets a mouse thrown to it once every week or two and never leaves the drawer. This brings me to the mice. Why would a breeder of the largest and most impressive Snake on the planet feed it a mouse? One reason only...they are cheap. Here at Monsters we start our babies out on frozen thawed Rats. No mites, no bites EVER. There is only two ways to raise baby Reticulated Pythons! The right way and the wrong way and we believe in starting them off right and we certainly hope this shows in the quality of our animals.
After care is another very important aspect we like to pride ourselves in here at Monster Snakes!! So you went and invested in your favorite morph and now you have a few questions!! Monster Snakes has a complete support system set up and has been set up for the past 3 years where you can get live help from me or one of the other Team Monsters moderators at http://www.MonsterSnakesForums.com. Unlike many other forums we the breeders actually care enough to post and speak with our customers on a daily basis and not only when it’s to make the sale. We believe that every life we create comes with responsibility just like our own human children and as such we will continue to be there for the animal and its keeper for the life time of your Monster Snake. *Please note also you do not have to buy a Snake from us to receive our help or advise.* We are advocates for the animals and will help any animal no matter if we produced it or not.
We hope you enjoy the rest of the site and share in our vision of what keeping Reticulated Pythons is all about!!
